Mountain View Church is a new church coming to the Chattanooga area with a mission to change people’s mind about church. We would love for you to find out more at one of our services!

Mountain View Church exists to help irreligious people grow to become fully committed followers of Jesus Christ.

To reach the unreached thousands in the Chattanooga metro area and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

People matter to God
Therefore, we are committed to connecting the dis-connected to the love of God found under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our philosophy of ministry along with our ministry practices will always be focused on reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We must journey within before we journey without
Therefore, Christ has not called us to simply inform people about a better life but rather to transform people into the image of Jesus Christ through an ongoing discipling relationship. The most effective means for ongoing spiritual transformation is to be found in an ongoing relationship with people, usually in the context of a Small Group.
People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care!
Therefore, the expression of our inward transformation is an outward commitment to sacrificial service.
God honors our desires to work with excellence.
Therefore, we will always give our best efforts as an offering to Christ and attempt to “let our lights shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
Pay the price!
Therefore, we know that there is a price to be paid for all worthy goals and ideals. We realize that we are laboring not for earthly reward that will be tarnished with time but we have been invited to labor for a Kingdom that will endure forever. He who spared His own Son now invites us to pay the same price.
